D-Dimer

D-Dimer Quantitative Test Reagent

D-Dimer is a specific degradation product of cross-linked fibrin under the action of plasmin. The content of D-Dimer in normal body plasma is very low. Its increase indicates that fibrinthrombosis and fibrinolysis have occurred in the body.As one of the molecular markers ofhypercoagulability and hyperfibrinolysis in vivo. D-dimer is a sensitive indicator of DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation) and a marker of systemic thrombosis (such aspulmonary embolism), and its elevation has diagnostic significance for DIC and systemic thrombosis. In addition D-dimer is also a marker of hypercoagulable states such as tumors and heart disease.

D-dimer is a soluble degradation product of cross-linked fibrin under the action of fibrinolysis system and is a specific marker of fibrinolysis process. In clinical practice, blood is in a state of high coagulation. During the occurrence and development of disseminated intravascular coagulation and vascular diseases, D-dimer may be increased. Combined with clinical manifestations, D-dimer detection can be used to prevent thrombosis.
0-250ng/mL  Basically normal 100.00%  50 ng/mL  50~10000 ng/mL R2=0.95
250-1000ng/mL  Thrombosis cannot be ruled out
1000ng/mL    Thrombus or DIC may be present and further examination is required
